Festival it is very kiwiana.
because kapa haka is only in New Zealand.

Term 3 reflection

what I have enjoyed at school this term is moving to the new school because the classrooms are big.
I did really well at maths.
I think my behaviour could have been better this time because I have been back chatting to the teachersfind
one thing I want to change about Tui hub is more sports because I like fitness.

My sister's birthday

January 13, my sister Cherish's birthday. We got up and had breakfast then we cleaned up. Aft
er getting dress for the day we had to go buy her a present. I got her a heart necklace, that said I love you. Just before lunch we went to the movies, we wanted to watch 'Wonder'. It was about someone who went through 10 plastic surgeries.

It was getting dark when we arrived at rainbows end I went on every ride. I had ice cream, hot dog's and pizza. Me and my auntie had to go buy a cake for her so we brought cookies and cream ice cream cake. We went home and sang happy birthday then we ate the cake and opened the presents then watch TV till 11:30 pm Then I fell asleep on the couch.

Apple juice

Pick the apple off the tree. Peel the apple then then cut it into quarter's and remove the core place is in a tea towel or a peer of stoking's and tie it up and cut of the top.

 Then place it in a pot with water (H2o) and put in two tea spoons of lemon juice in to keep it fresh

My teacher made 3 liter's of apple juice in a few day's ago. it taste like water but you could taste the apple.

Maori Language Week

This week I have been learning about Maori Language Week. I have made a poster a using Canva about the language.

I created a book using Book Creator, the book is about `Etahi tae Colours in Maori.WALT use our knowledge of te reo / Maori Language. I learnt how to make a book. I found it hard because I didn't know how to use Canva and Book Creator.

Tui

A Tui is a bird

They have a coat of bluey green faethers. They have a nice dark yellow beak and brown wings. They have a white fluffy ball on their chest they have a beautiful green and blue tail.

Tui's like to eat fruit,flax,insects,and seeds they mostly like nectar from kauri tree.

The tui habitat is in the the west and south coasts of the South Island

Tuis are endemic to new zealand.
